Jelly Loves...
Fabulous holiday let. Johnny and Lulu Watson have just completed a conversion of a 19th Century mill. A party of 10 of us recently stayed there...luxurious and beyond with oodles of space and Jelly's favourite thing is that every detail has been taken care of in the most thoughtful way. We loved it and thoroughly recommend.
This is the most delicious combination...a stunning cafe/book shop...great lunch or afternoon tea and wonderful books for everyone. Very welcoming for families with small children. It really is worth a detour if you find yourself in the vicinity of Melrose in the Scottish borders. Ros and her family have just been shortlisted for Scottish Independent Bookshop of the Year 2009 (The British Book Awards). Well done Ros!
With shops in Peebles, Galashiels, Hawick and most recently online - it's hard to visit and not walk away with a purchase! When I need something new I know I will always find it there... no need to trawl the high street and be disappointed!
